A new IT device acting both as a spare pieces detector and an eye-to-computer interface is now being developed by Daimler, one of the giants of the German automobile industry. They call the concept "augmented reality". Such a device is born out of managers' will to reduce errors due to the "human factor", the usual control freakism. Only one "reassuring" fact: the more workers will be turned into robots, the more real robots will be likely to replace them as some point.
